Allied Veneer is a stocking distributor of marine plywood in Los Angeles. We offer 4x8 sheets in thicknesses ranging from 3mm - 18mm (1/8"-3/4"). All products can be delivered to any state in the U.S. via freight.
Our marine plywood is used in a variety of applications including boat building, kayaks, outdoor tables, boat cabinetry, and many more outdoor applications.
For structural applications, we offer a panel called
Aquatek. This panel is manufactured to the British Standard 6566 (BS6566) which has the following characteristics:
- Face and back: 1mm
- WBP Glue
- Whole piece veneers throughout (few, if any core voids)
This product is is most often used in place of a Douglas Fir exterior grade plywood (AC). The multi-ply construction, lack of patches on the face, and the price make this a very popular product for our customer base.
For boat building and other high end marine applications, we offer the Lloyd's of London certified,
Joubert Okoume. This panel is manufactured to the highest quality British Standard 1088 (BS1088). This panel is lighter in color and weight, and the face grade is equivalent to a domestic "A" grade.
